ABSTRACT
Saadat Hasan Manto was a celebrated Urdu writer known for his realistic portrayal of the human experience during the partition of India in 1947. His stories and sketches captured the social, political, and psychological impact of the partition on ordinary people. Manto’s realism was characterized by his ability to depict the raw emotions, pain, and struggles of individuals and communities affected by the partition.
